American rock band Kings of Leon will headline the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix After-Race Concerts at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 3.

The Multi-GRAMMY and BRIT Award-winning band will perform songs from their entire 10-album catalogue alongside Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi at Etihad Live on Yas Island.

They replace the previously announced Zara Larsson, who is no longer able to perform at the event, said organisers.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon have become one of the world's most recognised alternative rock bands, selling over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide, earning twelve GRAMMY nominations, four GRAMMY Awards, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards and one Juno Award throughout their career.

The band's Abu Dhabi performance comes shortly after the scheduled release of their highly anticipated tenth studio album, O My Beloved, on November 6. Produced by the band, the album explores themes of family, gratitude and the journey that has shaped them over more than two decades.

"Having them perform alongside Lewis Capaldi makes for a strong opening to this year's After-Race Concerts and a great addition to the Yasalam presented by etisalat festival, setting the stage for one of the biggest entertainment events of the year", said David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Ethara.

They join an iconic line-up of global artists performing at the After-Race Concerts throughout the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week, including Alex Warren and Jennifer Lopez on December 4, Imagine Dragons on December 5, and The Chainsmokers and The Script on December 6.

The Yasalam entertainment programme will also feature Andrea Bocelli performing at the inaugural Yasalam Classics on December 2, Anyma presents ÆDEN at the Official After-Party on December 4 and global DJs Black Coffee, CamelPhat and Shimza performing at 16/360 across three days.

Tickets can be secured at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix's official website.
