Justin Bieber made a surprise performance at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards yesterday (08.11.15). The 21-year-old pop star performed his chart-topping hit 2012's 'Boyfriend' along with 'What Do You Mean?' and 'Where Are Ü Now', from his forthcoming album 'Purpose', delighting fans at the SSE Wembley Arena in London. As for the awards Ed Sheeran won Best British Solo Artist, 'The X Factor' was awarded the title of Best British TV Show and 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' won Best Film. One Direction took home the coveted prize of Best British Single for 'Drag Me Down' and Joe Sugg was named Best British Vlogger. As well as celebrity winners, the event - which was hosted by Radio 1 Breakfast Show presenter Nick Grimshaw - also celebrated the achievements of three special Teen Heroes, including 14-year-old carer Alice, Rosie, 14, a fundraiser with a malignant brain tumour, and Aaren, 16, who was born with gender dysphoria. The night also saw performances from Little Mix, Nick Jonas, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low and Demi Lovato. Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds of Summer took a tumble and ended up on crutches after falling off the stage. He posted on Twitter: "WHY DO I ALWAYS HURT MYSELF ... all good geezers. On crutches for the next few days. don't look at me funny pls lolz. Thanks radio 1 for having us! Wembley arena doesn't like me much (sic)"
