'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' could be set for a sensational comeback according to Dolly Parton, the show’s producer. The singer hinted at the return in a recent interview.
The legendary country superstar teased the show’s revival saying, “They’re thinking about bringing it back and revamping it” in an interview with Business Insider, during which the 78-year-old also confirmed, “They’re still working on that.”
Parton was a producer on the original TV hit series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, which ran between 1997 and 2003. The Jolene singer’s production company, Sandollar Productions, also co-produced the spinoff show Angel starring David Boreanaz.
Gellar, who was a teenager when the show first aired, has previously ruled out a return to her role.
