Eight of the top eleven longest flights in the world are serviced by Middle Eastern carriers. That’s according to a new survey released by leading travel search site Wego.com, which says that 2016 will be a promising year for the airline industry in the Middle East. In March, Emirates Airline will officially become the carrier with the longest flight duration when it starts its 17 hours and 35 minutes service from Dubai to Panama City.
