Emirates Airline has extended the temporary suspension of flights to South Africa until February 4.
In a statement on its website, the airline said the decision is in line with recent government directives that restrict the entry of travellers originating from South Africa, into the UAE.
It added that customers holding tickets with final destinations in South Africa will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.
The airline also advised affected passengers to contact their travel agent or Emirates contact centre for rebooking options.
