Abu Dhabi plans next big business hub

WAM

KEZAD Group, one of the region's largest operators of economic zones, has announced plans for Abu Dhabi’s newest commercial destination – the KEZAD Business District.

The development is part of the 410 square-kilometre KEZAD Al Ma’mourah master plan and will be located along the E11 highway, linking Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Spanning an initial area of 3 square kilometres, the district will be built in phases, with infrastructure work already underway.

Early highlights include a 21,000 square metre office tower, sports facilities and a range of food and retail outlets near KEZAD Group’s headquarters.

KEZAD Business District is set to become a mixed-use commercial hub, offering businesses and investors exceptional connectivity to major ports, airports, and logistics centres.

It sits just 15 minutes from Khalifa Port and 25 minutes from Zayed International Airport, and less than a 30-minute drive away from Jebel Ali Port and Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport.

Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at AD Ports Group, says the new district reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to future-focused economic growth and will attract innovative businesses and commercial ventures.

Once complete, the district aims to become a vibrant commercial centre, home to regional headquarters, research labs, training centres, and more.
