Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic was booted from the U.S. Open last night after accidentally hitting a line judge in the throat with a ball. Novak was playing a match versus Pablo Busta when Djokovic swacked a ball away out of frustration. He certainly didn’t mean to hit the judge as you can tell by his expression, but what was done was done and the judge had to be taken away for medical treatment. After a discussion, Novak was disqualified and he politely shook hands with both Busta and the head umpire. Not only will Djokovic lose the $250,000 in tournament money, but he’s probably going to get fined for not appearing at the mandatory post match press conference.

COVID-19 is working its way through the DC and Marvel universe apparently. Yesterday we talked about how Robert Pattinson has come down with the coronavirus, now Michael Rooker, Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy, has just revealed that he had the disease. Well posting his negative results on Instagram, Rooker reveal that he’s been holed up in the Airstream trailer, isolating from his family. He says he didn’t use any medicines or treatments, just his good old immune system. “My body has won the WAR! COVID put up a pretty good fight ... but bottom line, it ended up getting its *** knocked out!”
Getting divorced is expensive just ask Dr. Dre. Dre’s wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, filed for divorce in June, and in documents is asking for $2 million temporary support per month in expenses. Here’s the breakdown: Nicole is asking for $1,936,399 to cover her expenses, indicating she needs $100,000 a month for her mortgage and $900,000 a month in entertainment. She lays out the cost of more monthly necessities, as well, claiming she needs $135,000 a month for clothes and needs $20,000 a month for her cell phone, email and telephone. Dr. Dre is worth around $1 billion and claims there was a prenup, but she says he tore that up right around the time he signed the mega deal with Beats, something he denies. Obviously the courts are going to have to figure this one out.
Who leaves a successful award-winning show when it’s at the top of its game? Anna Faris, that’s who. Anna has quit the show “Mom” after seven seasons, not really giving any reason why, just saying, “The past seven years on Mom have been some of the most fulfilling and rewarding of my career," and that it was a “truly wonderful working experience.” So no controversy? Her character won’t be recast, just written out somehow. “Mom” has been a ratings and critical success, earning 10 Emmy nominations.
