Aaron Carter was in court this week and told that he needs to give up his guns, because he’s “too dangerous” to own such weapons, according to a judge.  In two separate hearings, Aaron’s brother Nick from the Backstreet Boys, and sister Angel won  restraining orders from their brother, meaning he can’t contact either of them for a year.  Word is Aaron freaked out in court when he was told to give up his guns, but he just posted this video on Instagram and seems much more calm.

I just wanted to send a message to all my fans especially LMG it’s a movement I created to reach out to as many people who are hurt and inadvertently hurt others those people need love understanding compassion and the way I do things is very different but I’m here to make a difference and change the world and stop letting the narrative of negativity attract The attention of us as human beings I’m aware of my mistakes but I’ve grown I’ve learned I bettered myself and I’ve learned from my mistakes with that being said I will never stop paying attention to someone who is hurt whether they’re a hater or just suffering and alone I love you all #Love #ACLMG #thejoker #cyberbullying #cybersecurity #LoveOverHate #TheKingTroll

Ariana Grande is getting political, and has already made her pick for who she wants to run against Donald Trump in 2020.  Ariana tweeted out some pictures of her and the 78-year-old Bernie Sanders, calling him “MY GUY.”   The Vermont senator was at her concert in Atlanta the other night, and thanked her on his own Twitter post “for not only being a wonderful entertainer, but also for being such an outstanding advocate for social justice.”  Ari also says that 20,000 people have been registered to vote at her concerts so far.

Former Disney star Brenda song says she never got tradition for the lead role in “Crazy Rich Asians” because, as she says, she wasn’t “Asian enough.”  Speaking to Teen Vogue, the actress said she was a fan of the books, was the right age, not to mention she’s Asian-American, so wanted to audition.  Her agent came back with bad news.  "Their reasoning behind that, what they said, was that my image was basically not Asian enough, in not so many words. It broke my heart,” she said.   Constance Wu eventually got the role, and “Crazy Rich Asians” became a huge global hit with a sequel on the way.

Oh, and Grammy nominations are out. Lizzo had the most nominations with eight.  Billie Eilish at 17 years old got nominated for six, making her the youngest artist to ever do that. (Her brother Finneas, who who writes and produces her stuff, was nominated for five Grammys.)  Lil Nas X is also up for six awards.  But this is probably our favorite reaction to the nomination ceremony:

Just another day in Los Angeles.  Drivers spotted Harry Styles being pulled across a zip line by James Corden, who was dressed as a cloud. Carry on, nothing to see here!
