The first trailer for the highly anticipated new Marvel film “The Eternals” is out, and it looks to be trying to be the “Avengers” replacement we need.  It’s stars Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and more. It’s out in November.

John Cena got on the Chinese social media platform Weibo to apologize for calling Taiwan a country in a “Fast and the Furious 9” promo interview.  Who knew John Cena spoke such good Mandarin?  Taiwan is officially a republic of China, and kind of a sensitive issue, hence the apology.  Basically he said he didn't mean to offend anyone.

The NFT for the OG viral video “Charlie Bit My Finger” has sold at auction, and soon you’ll have to say goodbye to the YouTube classic...kind of.   The non-fungable token sold at auction for $766,999 (AED 2.8 million), and now the video, starring Charlie and Harry Davies-Carr is set to be deleted forever as part of the transaction agreement.  “Charlie Bit My Finger” has about 884 million views, and was one of the first videos to really go viral when it was uploaded 14 years ago.  As part of the deal, the winning bidder will get to make a parody video with the kids, who are now teenagers.  This is how you pay for college!  The video is still up...and of course there are lots of copies running around YouTube and other platforms.

Last weekend a guy named Adrian got on TikTok and announced a party in Huntington Beach, California called “Adrian’s Kickback.”  The party invite went viral - like extra viral, getting over 180 million views.  Thousands of people showed up to the “BYOE” (bring your own everything) event, and as you would imagine, it turned into a riot, with 149 people arrested.   TikTok eventually took down all videos related to the party-riot.
