Britney Spears has appeared in a California court to as a judge to end the 13 year conservatorship that’s controlled by her father and others. Britney appeared via Zoom and emotionally asked the judge to end the order that was meant to protected her and her career, saying that instead it was hurting her, and her dad Jamie “loved it.” She says she thinks her dad should be in jail. She recalled a time when she was doing live shows for her Las Vegas residency and wanted to rest, but she was given Lithium and forced to continue. “I'm not here to be anyone’s slave,” she testified. Britney also says she wants to have another baby, but that she’s being forced on birth control. The judge will continue to hear testimony from doctors and therapists to see what they think as far as Britney’s ability to take care of her own life. Even though she’s not there physically, a large group of #freebritney protesters was outside the courtroom doing their thing.

Blink 182’s singer Mark Hoppus has revealed he’s got cancer. Mark posted on Instagram that he’s been seeking treatment for three months, and that “it sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this. Mark didn't say what kind of cancer he’s being treated for. He says he still has months of chemotherapy to go, but he can’t wait to see you all at a concert in the near future.
