Dubai Police are reminding motorists about the dangers of making turns in non-designated areas in order to save a few minutes of travel time.
More than 29,400 violations were recorded in the last 10 months in which six people were injured.
The offence is punishable with a fine of AED 500 and 4 black points.

UAE intercepts 9 ballistic missiles, 109 drones
The UAE air defences said it has intercepted 9 ballistic missiles detected in the region on Friday. Of the 112 drones detected, 109 were intercepted with 3 falling within the country's territory.
