The UAE has unveiled an initiative to help young government officials unlock their potential and prepare them for future leadership roles.
The '71 Challenge for Young Government Leaders' was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, during the UAE Government Annual Meetings in Abu Dhabi.
The challenge, overseen by the UAE Government Leaders Programme, aims to empower and engage young government officials.
It will see 45 young leaders from federal and local entities work on eight key government projects, under expert guidance.
These projects will focus on areas such as education, digital transformation, innovation and economic productivity, all aligned with the UAE’s vision for the future.
The six-month challenge will culminate in the selection of top projects and the recognition of outstanding leaders for their contributions.
