The UAE has extradited two fugitives to Sweden following their arrest by Dubai Police, acting on an Interpol Red Notice.
The individuals are among Sweden’s most wanted, facing charges related to illegal firearms trafficking.
Their extradition was carried out in accordance with a judicial ruling and a decision by the Ministry of Justice, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to international legal procedures.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to fighting transnational organised crime and strengthening global partnerships.
The Ministry of Interior handed over wanted fugitives to the authorities in the Kingdom of Sweden, after they were arrested by the Dubai Police General Command pursuant to a Red Notice issued by the "Interpol".
