Filipino expats in the UAE will get a rare opportunity to meet President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Dubai.
A special three-hour event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 29, starting at 5:00 pm.
Releasing details of the event, the Philippine missions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi said only Filipinos who have registered online and are aged above 18 will be allowed to participate.
The dress code is set as "smart casual or Filipiniana", with the advisory adding that "large bags, selfie sticks, umbrellas and other items such as posters, banners, placards, and streamers will not be allowed inside the venue" for "security reasons".
Registration process
- Fill out online registration form
- Once verified, a confirmation QR code will be sent via email
- The QR code and a valid passport will be required for entry
- It will be exclusively open to Filipinos, aged 18 and above
- Gates will open at 3:00 pm and close at 4:30 pm
