COVID-19 vaccines will not be available to visit visa holders and tourists in Abu Dhabi.
The emirate's Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee made the announcement.
In a Tweet, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said the free vaccines will be provided to those with an expired residency or entry visa but not to tourist or visit visa holders.
It added that the decision is for the "health and safety of everyone in Abu Dhabi and in consideration of the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic."
