The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the resumption of limited flights at UAE airports to enable stranded passengers affected by recent regional developments to depart.
In an update, Dubai Airports announced limited resumption of operations from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) starting from Monday evening.
Posting the update on Dubai Media Office's social media channels, the authority said a small number of flights permitted to operate from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC).
Travellers are advised not to proceed to DXB or DWC unless they have been contacted directly by their airline with a confirmed departure time.

Emirates said it will begin operating a limited number of flights from the evening of 2 March, with "priority given to customers with earlier bookings".

In an update, Abu Dhabi Airports also confirmed that limited flights will be permitted to take off from the UAE capital.

Sharjah International Airport also announced the limited resumption of flights and advised passengers to check with their airlines to confirm departure times before heading to the airport.
