Entertainment centres and gaming halls in Abu Dhabi will be allowed to function at 60 per cent capacity when they reopen.

That's according to the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), which issued a set of guidelines in line with the safety protocols set for shopping malls.

All employees will be required to take COVID-19 tests, with regular temperature checks throughout the day.

The capacity of ball pits must be restricted to 30 per cent, while all rides and machines have to be disinfected after each use.

That's not all. All staff and customers will have to wear masks and gloves, while maintaining a 2-metre safe distance between each other.

Centres have also been advised to go cashless, and encourage contactless payment.
