The West Indies have advanced to the semi-finals of the World Twenty20, while Pakistan have crashed out. The Caribbean side managed to maintain their unbeaten run in Group 1, with a three wicket-win over South Africa. Chasing a 123-run target, they won the game in Nagpur with two balls to spare. Elsewhere, Australia successfully defended a score of 193-4 against Pakistan in a decisive Group 2 match in Mohali. Skipper Steve Smith struck an unbeaten 61 and then James Faulkner's 5-27 with the ball did the damage, as the Aussies won by 21 runs. Australia will face hosts India next, with the winner progressing to the semi-finals at the expense of the other.
