Last year’s runner-up, California Chrome, went one better this year to claim the AED 36.7 million prize, ahead of some of the world’s best horses. It ended a tremendous day of racing in front of over 60,000 fans at Meydan racecourse, before Janet Jackson brought the curtains down on the event.
