Three separate wildfires have hit central Portugal, forcing authorities to partially evacuate a village.
According to rescue workers, one person has been hospitalised with severe injuries.
Upwards of a thousand firefighters have been deployed to battle the blaze.
Seven firefighters have also been injured so far.
