Jordan has announced the reopening of its airspace to all civil aviation traffic following a "comprehensive operational and security review amid current regional developments".

The announcement on Tuesday was made by the head of the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Dhaifallah Al-Farajat, announced on Tuesday.

This includes arrivals, departures and overflights.

The partial closure was in place since Monday evening.

Captain Al-Farajat said the decision came after an in-depth risk assessment conducted in coordination with relevant authorities.
