24,927 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since October 7

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said, in a statement today, Saturday, that a total of 24,927 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, were killed in Israeli strikes on the Strip since October 7.

A total of 62,388 were injured have been injured so far.

According to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, "The Israeli occupation committed 14 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 165 martyrs and 280 injuries during the past 24 hours, noting that several victims are still under the rubble and on the roads."

In Ramallah, the ministry said, "What is required is an immediate ceasefire and not just diagnosing the humanitarian catastrophe and warning against its spread."

They further said, "At a time when official and popular international demands to stop the ongoing genocide against our people are increasing for the 106th day in a row, and the continuous warnings about the consequences and dimensions of the continuing humanitarian catastrophe among Palestinian civilians and the dangers that threaten their lives due to the spectre of famine and the absence of basic humanitarian needs, catastrophic environmental impacts, and the spread of epidemics. The occupying state continues to commit more massacres against Palestinian civilians, leaving approximately 200 martyrs per day on average.

The statement said, "and the warlords of the ruling Israeli right are keen to disdain all international positions and demands, whether to end the war and stop it immediately, or to spare civilians from its scourge and secure their basic humanitarian needs, as an obligation imposed by international law on the occupying power, and not as a favour or generosity from the occupation, or issues subject to barter and bargaining. They also continue to beat the drums of war."

The ministry pointed out that the Israeli government is trying to "market more justifications to prolong its rule with flimsy pretexts to prolong their stay in power, and to implement their undeclared goals of emptying the Gaza Strip, or at least its north, of all residents. In light of this, it seems that talking about the day after the war is an illusion. It is promoted as a drug that is used to silence the voices and cries of Palestinian civilians as a result of the continuation and ugliness of the aggression."
