Former child star Zachary Ty Bryan has been arrested. Known for his role as Tim Allen’s son Brad on the show “Home Improvement” was arrested Friday for allegedly strangling his girlfriend. The 39-year-old reportedly was found outside his Eugene, Oregon apartment after neighbors reported the incident. He was booked and is apparently still in police custody. Zachary was on “Home Improvement” for the entire run of the show, from 1991-1999. He hasn’t acted since 2009.
Kanye West is going to appear on the very popular “Joe Rogan Podcast,” and he says he’s going to do a little interior decorating. After tweeting out his interest in being on the show, Kanye said that he was trying to get Joe’s number...which must have happened, because later Yeezy posted a picture of the two FaceTiming. Kanye says Joe agreed that he could resign the show’s set for the appearance. Word is the interview, which often last for hours, will go down this Friday.
Just because a TV series has had its finale, doesn’t mean it’s dead. “Dexter,” The show that ran for eight seasons about a serial killer-killing serial killer is coming back. The show, starring Michael C. Hall ran from 2006-2013, and had a final episode that was called disappointing and anticlimactic by fans. Now Showtime, the network that originally ran the show, is bringing it back in 2021 for a ten episode limited run. A show runner says the new season won’t undo the past, but will “make things right.” If they can do it for “Dexter” maybe there’s still hope for “Game of Thrones.”
Some say being in an Adam Sandler movie can be bad for your career, but this is taking it to the next level. A morning TV news anchor has lost her job after getting a small part in Sandler‘s new Netflix film Hubie Halloween. Alaina Pinto, who anchors morning TV news in Boston said her bosses fired her for a breach of contract, after appearing in the film as a TV morning show host. The movie was shot last year, and Pinto says she had no idea that it was a breach of her contract. Still, she’s taking the high road, with this post on Twitter thanking her viewers and coworkers.
A fitness Instagram influencer has passed away from COVID-19 after insisting it wasn’t real. Dmittriy Stuzhuk, who had 1.1 million followers and was seemingly incredibly fit passed away at the age of 33 at a hospital in Ukraine. His ex-wife posted on Instagram with an account of how his illness went from hopeful to tragic. Dmitriy himself posted on his 8th day of dealing with the virus, saying that, “I want to share how I got sick and convincingly warn everyone: I also thought that there was no covid... Until I got sick."
