Cardi B and Offset are officially staying together. You might remember about six weeks ago Cardi filed for divorce in their home state of Georgia. But yesterday a judge dismissed the case “without prejudice,” the same week the two were scheduled to appear in court. It’s not much of a surprise, since the two have been seen spending a lot of time together since her birthday last month. Before filing for divorce, Cardi had said that she might do it to “teach a lesson,”. And it looks like that exactly what happened.
A lot of fans were concerned last week when Selena Gomez went on Instagram live with a tube coming out of her arm. She never acknowledged the IV, so it made everybody start guessing what was going on, which of course led in all kinds of directions. Nothing to worry about though Selena says that it was just a vitamin drip. And it had nothing to do with her lupus diagnosis or the fact that she got a kidney transplant a while back… It’s just a health thing but lots of people do.
Silento has been arrested for speeding and reckless driving… But you have to hear his excuse. We have the body cam footage from the arresting officer who clocked the rapper going 143 mph - that’s about 230 kph! Silento says he should be allowed to drive that fast because he was leaving a club where he was promoting a new song - called “DXB Money” by the way- and that about 10 cars were chasing him after the club appearance.
I’m not sure what this says about our society, but there is a new most-viewed video on YouTube. “Baby Shark” is now the most viewed at 7.4 billion, surpassing former champ, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” It took the kids song 4 1/2 years to get there, and it’s actually a little older than the 2017 Despacito. Fun Fact: The song is actually public domain and there is no song writing credit, as it’s been a nursery rhyme for years. This version of the song was recorded by a South Korean company called Pinkfong, with a Korean American singer named Hope Segoine.
By the way, this is the song that some say may become the next "Baby Shark."
