The People’s Choice Awards were last night. This is the annual award ceremony hosted by the E! television network. Demi Lovato hosted, there was a sort of virtual and in person audience, and some live performances including Justin Bieber doing a medley of his latest hits “Lonely” and “Holy.”
BTS won 4 awards, including Group of 2020. Bad Boys For Life took home Movie of 2020...which, there wasn’t much competition. Grey’s Anatomy won Show of 2020...which...okay. Jennifer Lopez was named The People’s Icon. Let’s face it, the awards don’t really matter, we’ll watch just about anything at this point.
Rumors have been floating around that Chadwick Boseman will be CGI’d into the sequel of Black Panther, but according to a producer for “Black Panther 2,” the actor will not be digitally inserted into the film. Exec producer Victoria Alonso said in a recent interview:
“There’s only one Chadwick, and he’s no longer with us. Sadly, our king has died in real life, not only in fiction, and we’re taking a little time to see how we continue the story and how to honor this chapter of what has unexpectedly happened to us, so painful and terrible to be honest.”
They don’t have a lot of time to figure things out. The sequel is set to begin filming early next year. Boseman died in August from colon cancer at the age of 43.

And its biggest collaboration yet, SpaceX and NASA sent up four astronauts this morning. It’s the most humans launched into space at once in the US since the last space shuttle mission in 2011. The three American and one Japanese astronauts are on their way to the international space station where they conduct a bunch of research.
