Dwayne Johnson has a lot of options when it comes to his career path, but I gotta admit, I didn’t see this one coming - He’s going back to where it all started. The Rock is going to reprise his role from the 2002 film “The Scorpion King” in a new reboot.  That film was a spin-off from The Mummy franchise, and while it didn’t do well critically, it made a ton of money.  They were even four really bad sequels which didn’t star Johnson.   “The Scorpion King was my very first role ever on the silver screen and I’m honored and excited to reimagine and deliver this cool mythology to a whole new generation.” Said Johnson in a statement.  ‘Straight Outta Compton” writer Jonathan Herman write the script.
