Katy Perry is another celebrity trying to help heal a divided nation following last weeks US presidential election.  Katy said in a tweet, “the first thing I did when the presidency was called is text and call my family members who do not agree and tell them I love them and am here for them. #FamilyFirst. Call your family today.”  And because it’s social media, a lot of people criticized her for being cool the other side, so some things don’t change. 
 
 
 
If you were wondering if Hollywood films are still being made, they are good   In fact, we just learned that Jurassic World: Dominion has finished shooting. Over 18 months they conducted around 40,000 COVID-19 tests, spent $6-8 million on protocols to create a bubble for cast and crew to work in.  Original Jurassic Park Actors Sam Neill, Laura Darn, and Jeff Goldblum, join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the film scheduled to appear sometime in the summer of 2022.

McDonald’s has announced a new upcoming sandwich – the McPlant.  It’s a plant-based “chicken“ burger, that McDonald’s said yesterday will be testmarketed next year. A rep from the fast food giant says that it is the first of what McDonald’s hopes will be a whole line of plant-based menu items.  The company also says it’s going to roll out a new crispy chicken sandwich, trying to enter the chicken sandwich wars which popped off in 2019...remember that?  Feels like ancient history.
