Sotheby's just auctioned off a pair of 1985 Air Jordan 1 sneakers for more than $500,000, a new record for shoes. Why so much? Well, these are not only signed by the GOAT, but also were game-worn during his rookie season. Sotheby's estimated that the sneakers would sell for around $100-150,000, but prices soared sky high, likely due to all the attention surrounding Jordan during the ten part airing of "The Last Dance," the ESPN/Netflix documentary about Jordan's final season with the Chicago Bulls.
