Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are out of quarantine. Like way out of quarantine. They we spotted driving in Los Angeles this weekend, 19 days after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.

It’s good news that they’re feeling well, but of course this came with some criticism, with some people wondering why they were allowed to fly from Australia to the US, and why are they in public. But we don’t know the whole story, we just know they are well, and that’s good enough for me. Here’s what Tom said on Twitter last night:

Lady Gaga‘s father got slammed on social media after he asked for donations to pay his restaurant staff. Joe Germanotta started a GoFundMe page after his restaurant Joanne Trattoria had to close down amid the coronavirus situation. He was asking for donations amounting to $50,000 to pay for his furloughed staff. “I’m doing the best I can but we had to close Joanne for the month. Our staff needs some help financial. Any help for our employees will be appreciated,” Germanotta wrote in a since-deleted tweet. The problem is, Lady Gaga made about $40 million last year alone, so people figure maybe she could help out and he should not ask the public for donations. The restaurant is named after her, after all. By the way, it was Lady Gaga‘s birthday yesterday. Happy birthday!
The Weeknd released his album “After Hours” on March 20 as scheduled, but it turns out that his label begged him not to. Record execs felt a lack of marketing due to the coronavirus outbreak would kill the album, but The Weeknd disagreed and launched it anyway to huge results. The album received 100 million streams on it’s first day of release, and passed 1 billion streams in it’s first week, with 12 of the songs appearing on top of Apple Music’s Top 100.
