Actor Ned Beatty has passed away.  He’s been acting forever, with 160 film roles during a career spanning 5 decades. He appeared in the original Superman films, and was once nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the critically acclaimed film “Network.”  Modern audiences would probably know his voice more than his face - he played the evil bear Lotsa in “Toy Story 3.”  Ned was 83 and died of natural causes surrounded by family.

Chris Hemsworth trolled Chris Evans on Instagram for his 40th birthday. Hemsworth posted a picture of himself along with Chris Pratt and said that the “Captain America” actor will always be number one in his book, referencing the “which Chris is the best Chris in Hollywood” argument.  No love there at all for Chris Pine.

Ben Affleck is filming some kind of project in Las Vegas, and it just got interesting.  It looks like Guadelupe Rodriguez is in the film (or whatever it is) - now why is that a big deal?  Because Guadelupe, or Lupe for short, is Jennifer Lopez’s mother.  So Ben seems to be getting in good with Mama.  Fun fact, Lupe once won $2.4 million playing a slot machine, and Jennifer has said she’s a big gambler, so that may have something to do with why she’s in Ben’s Vegas project - it is being filmed in a casino, after all.  By the way, a source tells People that JLO‘s mom is “thrilled“ that they’re back together.

Meghan Markle‘s father is talking again for some reason. It’s been almost a year and a half of blissful silence, but here is Thomas Markle on “60 Minutes” Australia.  Thomas says he’s upset that he only found out about the birth of his grandchild via news reports, instead of his daughter.
