Elon Musk and SpaceX are about to make history by sending four civilians into space later this year.  The first truly civilian astronaut will be billionaire Jared Isaacman, who also will pilot the ship, as he’s an experienced jet pilot.  Isaacman has spent at least $100 million so far to buy the four seats.  Musk says that while this is an important step for his space program, it’s also a chance to do good - the flight will generate $200,000,000 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in the US.  The remaining seats will be given out in a few different ways, one going to a random St. Jude’s donor, no matter what size donation.  The mission, which will orbit the earth for “multiple days,” is set for Q4 of this year.

Rock star Marilyn Manson as been dropped by his label after four women claimed that he abused them.  “Underworld” actress Evan Rachel Wood came out last night on Instagram, naming Manson, using his real name Brian Warner, to allege that he groomed her as a teenager and mental, physically, and emotionally abused her throughout their relationship.  Wood had in the past talked about a powerful person she had been abused by, but never named him - now she says she’s done “living in fear of retaliation” and wants to expose a “dangerous man...before he ruins any more lives.”  3 other women have made similar claims, and now Manson’s record label has dropped him, effective immediately.

Manson has responded on Instagram, calling the accusations “horrible distortions of reality.”
