Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Justin Timberlake apologized to two very influential women in his life, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. Justin has been getting some criticism over the past week or so after a documentary about Britney Spears career and life showed Justin being less than respectful to his former girlfriend.  “Framing Britney” dropped audio clips of Justin radio talking about personal aspects of their relationship, which fans considered disrespectful.  At the same time, Justin apologized to Janet Jackson, whose top he ripped off during a halftime show at the Super Bowl in 2004.  It was a very plan moment, which caused all kinds of controversy, but Janet took the brunt of it, leaving Justin pretty much unscathed.
 
 
 
 
Taylor Swift‘s new recordings of her old songs are starting to roll out. Taylor began this weekend by posting her new recording of the song “Love Story.”  Remember Taylor is doing this to try to make sure those that bought her old catalog of music don’t make any money off of it… Or at least not as much.    A full album of new versions of old Taylor hits is out on April 9. Let’s take a look at these two songs back to back. One from now, and one from 2008.

Chris Harrison, the longtime host of the US show “The Bachelor” is stepping away from the show after a controversial interview.  Chris Was talking about a contestant who had been photographed at a theme party in 2018 in which party goers were dressed in slave-era costumes.  In this interview on the entertainment show “Extra,” Chris openly suggests that what isn’t right today may have been acceptable in 2018.  Chris says he’ll be stepping away from the show for an unspecified amount of time.

A 2013 interview of Lindsay Lohan by David Letterman has resurfaced, with people critical of the way the host handled the topic of Lindsey‘s upcoming rehab.  Letterman repeatedly dove into specific details of why Lindsay was seeking treatment, and now a lot of people are talking about how this type of personal attack isn’t acceptable.  If you’ve never seen it, Lindsay handles herself really well in the interview.  
 
 
 
 
The sequel to the 2017 hit My Little Pony film will be coming straight to Netflix, producers announced.  The film was due this year and cinemas in September, but due to the ongoing pandemic, Hasbro decided to go with Netflix in every country other than China.  The 2017 original made a ton of money on a tiny $6 million budget.
