A$AP Rocky will not take the stand in Sweden today in his own defense. The rapper's trial continues today to decide if he's guilty of assaulting a man in a street fight. Not taking the witness stand makes it so the prosecutor can't grill Rocky on the details, possibly making him look bad in front of the judge. Of course, it also means he can't tell his side of the story. Other witnesses will have to do that on his behalf. A new video has come out, and this one is early on, before the fight took place. It shows A$AP's bodyguard lifting the guy off the ground by the neck, and slamming him to the ground. Previously, we'd only seen the man throw his headphones at the bodyguards head. Now we may know why he did that.
Woodstock 50 is finally dead and buried. The proposed 3 day festival was to have featured a huge list of artists including Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, Halsey, Chance the Rapper, The Killers, and dozens more. Since announced in March, though, the festival has been plagued by cancellations, venue changes, investor pull-outs, etc. Now it's officially been completely canceled due to the lack of permits, which is probably a good thing, as it was scheduled for August 13th, and that is pretty short notice to get anything up and running. The good news for the artists - they get to keep their fees.
