Angelina Jolie has sold her Sir Winston Churchill painting which was bought by ex husband Brad Pitt as a gift for her in 2011.
Christie’s in London sold the rare piece of art for $11.5 million.
The sale more than tripled its high estimate of $3.5 million. Churchill's previous record was $2.7 million in 2014 at Sotheby's London.
