UAE announces private sector holiday for Hijri New Year

It hasn't been very long since we had an extra long public holiday for Eid but now The UAE has announced the Hijri New Year holiday for the private & public sectors!

We had already heard of government organizations being given 13th September as a day off. 

In a tweet, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation declared Thursday 13th September as a holiday for private enterprises, institutions, and companies in the UAE too.

Work will resume on Sunday 16th September.
