Shawn Mendes first released Lost in Japan in May from his third self-titled album, now Zedd has remixed the track catapulting it up the charts.
Rolling Stone reviewed the remixed track saying "The end result sounds a bit like an old-school video game soundtrack with its melding of tiny noises into one bigger-than-life sound." When Shawn Mendes was interviewed about the collaboration he said: "When we decided to make ‘Lost In Japan’ the next single, I wanted to do an exciting remix for the song, and with Zedd being a good friend and such an amazing artist, it felt natural to ask him to collaborate on it,” Mendes said. “What he did with it is so incredible and I’m so excited for the world to hear it.”
